Glidestor is typically used on pallet racking and long-span shelving, 800 to 1200 deep.
Traditionally pallet and large boxes are used to store extra stock/ less moving files on the higher levels. Boxes would be stacked on top of each and to gain access was slow.

Archive storage falls into three categories:
Live, Semi Active and Dead.
Live requires that the archive data be easily accessible as records are required on a regular basis necessitating the installation of a single deep shelving system.
